Fay is a Partner and Principal Architect at ARCHwork STUDIO with over 20 years of experience leading the planning, design, and delivery of thoughtful, enduring architectural projects. Her work is defined by a commitment to design excellence, technical precision, and architecture that responds meaningfully to its environmental, cultural, and community context.
As a member of the studio’s leadership team, Fay plays a key role in shaping ARCHwork’s design direction, project delivery standards, and long-term strategic growth. She brings a balanced approach to practice, combining strong conceptual thinking with disciplined technical execution to ensure projects are both inspiring and buildable.
Throughout her career, Fay has led projects across residential, commercial, and institutional sectors, guiding multidisciplinary teams from early design through construction. Her deep understanding of the full project lifecycle allows her to navigate complex design challenges while maintaining alignment between client vision, project performance, and budget. Highly experienced in contract administration, she utilizes project management platforms such as Rform and Procore to oversee construction phases, ensuring that design intent and quality are maintained through to completion.
Fay is widely respected for her collaborative leadership style and mentorship within the studio. She fosters strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors, creating project environments built on trust, clarity, and shared accountability. Her analytical mindset and attention to detail allow her to anticipate challenges early and guide teams toward efficient, well-resolved solutions.
A LEED Accredited Professional (BD+C), Fay integrates sustainability and environmental responsibility into the core of each project. Her work prioritizes passive design strategies, energy efficiency, durable materials, and long-term building performance. She has also completed the Zero Carbon Building Standards workshop through the Canada Green Building Council, further strengthening her expertise in carbon-conscious and future-focused design.
