HARBOUR REFLECTION

Harbour Reflection is a thoughtfully designed coastal retreat that seamlessly integrates four distinct gabled volumes, each purposefully oriented to embrace the serenity of its waterfront setting. Inspired by traditional maritime architecture and infused with modern elegance, the design showcases a harmonious blend of weathered grey cedar shingles, vertical siding, and standing seam metal roofs.

The primary volume serves as the heart of the residence, featuring expansive living and dining areas framed by large windows that capture panoramic harbour views. A stone-clad chimney anchors the space, adding warmth and timeless character, while vertical siding introduces texture and visual depth to the façade.

Connected by a glazed corridor, the secondary volume contains private living quarters with vaulted ceilings and generous natural light, offering a tranquil escape within the retreat.

The third volume is dedicated to a covered outdoor screened area, perfectly suited for coastal living. This sheltered space provides an ideal setting for relaxation and entertaining, blending indoor comfort with the natural beauty of the harbour.

The fourth volume, linked to the main house through a covered breezeway, serves as a multi-functional wing housing a detached garage, utility spaces, and additional living areas. Its seamless connection to the main residence maintains architectural cohesion while reinforcing the courtyard's inviting sense of enclosure.
